What We Have Learned
The developer client wished to assume and benefit from the redevelopment risk and to be compensated
as such. A successful negotiation of a joint venture in the redevelopment of an office property into a
residential property fulfilled the client’s objectives. The assignment consisted in locating a qualified
developer to joint-venture the project. The property at the time was not developed to its highest and best
use.
